The Saver Plus flyer is great for emailing to new parents/carers or including in info packs.

The program is open to eligible parents/carers all year, but we find it’s when these larger costs “Come up" that families start reaching out for support.

To join Saver Plus, you need to meet these requirements:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a current Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card
  • Have a child in school, starting next year, or be studying

QCAD ART & DESIGN SCHOOL PROGRAM

In 2025, Creative Futures and Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD) will present the QCAD Art and Design School Program, a series of intensive weekend visual arts and design workshops delivered at four regional Queensland high schools.
This program is available to all Year 9– 12 visual arts and design students who will work alongside a team of professional creatives to develop skills and explore creative processes and perspectives across visual art and design.

The weekend will conclude with a celebration of the participant’s hard work with an exhibition open to families, friends and peers.

There will also be opportunities to network and join us in a tour of the local Regional Gallery.

We’re excited to invite students to the upcoming QCAD Art & Design Regional Workshop, taking place from August 1–3 at Cairns School of Distance Education.

This free workshop is open to students in Years 9–12 who have an interest in visual art and design. The workshop is also open to teachers for a fee. Delivered by academics from the Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD), the program offers students the opportunity to work alongside professional creatives, explore a range of creative processes, and develop new skills.

A highlight of this workshop is the overnight stay, giving students a unique and immersive experience. The event will conclude with a student exhibition to celebrate their achievements — families, friends and peers are all welcome to attend.

Places are limited, so we encourage early registration.
