Don’t forget that there are three awards that you can nominate for this year.

✨  Empowerment Award sponsored by Griffith University

This award is intended to support the growth of an inclusive aerospace workforce by encouraging motivated students that demonstrate an interest, and take steps to actively pursue, an education in aviation and/or aerospace. Students are nominated by school representatives. Two winners will be awarded a bursary to recognize a student’s enthusiasm and dedication to their studies and support them to continue their journey towards an aerospace career.

✨  Teacher Excellence Award sponsored by Boeing Defence Australia, GE Aerospace + Northrop Grumman

This award recognises a teaching professional who demonstrates initiative in their approach to aerospace education and inspires others through their ongoing contributions to the learning outcomes of both students and colleagues. Teachers can submit an application, or be nominated by colleagues.

✨  Aerospace Gateway School of the Year Award sponsored by CASA

This award recognises an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School that demonstrates a commitment to aerospace education through their active involvement in program initiatives, creative contextualised learning opportunities for students and continuous exposure to aerospace career possibilities. The winning school will receive $5000 to enhance aerospace learning resources, activities, initiatives and promote the importance of aviation safety.
