Since the commencement of Term 2, AFL Cape York Game Development ran programs with Stars Programs Cairns High and Western Cape College. Upon completion both programs were invited to participate in their annual Chris Johnson and Angie Nadredre Cup in Bamaga QLD.

Stars Programs Cairns High and Western Cape College formed an AFL team and travelled up in a convoy of 17 4WD's to Bamaga. This consisted of staff and students from AFL Cape York House's for Girls and Boys, Richmond AFL, Mt Saint Bernard’s College, Chris Johnson and Angie Bowie (nee Nadredre).

Throughout the week students camped at numerous camping grounds, visited popular destinations, engaged with the Bamaga Community and Local Primary schools. At the conclusion of the Tournament Stars Foundation won the Angie Nadredre Cup.
