Junior School Year 8
Year 8 Coordinator
As we move into the second half of the year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. It has been an absolute privilege to watch our Year 8s grow in confidence, maturity, and resilience over the past two terms.
What a Semester!
This term, our focus across the cohort has been on kindness and looking after our bodies - reminding students that wellbeing and learning go hand in hand.
Our students have also been out and about, engaging with the world beyond the classroom:
- History excursions to local cultural sites have deepened our understanding of identity, Country, and community.
- Italian students visited Limoncello’s restaurant, where they demonstrated their language skills in real-life scenarios as part of their assessment. buon lavoro!
- Through our Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef partnership, students contributed to the annual Reef Census. We were thrilled to host local politicians and media during this visit—a fantastic opportunity for students to be part of something with national and worldwide impact.
Looking Ahead
