Junior School Years 7 - 8
Year 8 Coordinator
On behalf of the Year 8 team, I would like to sincerely thank Amanda Gonzo for her dedication and service to our Year 8 cohort. I am honoured to step into the role of Year 8 Coordinator and am excited about the opportunity to support our students throughout this important year. I have been proud to call CSHS home for the past seven years and am deeply committed to our school community.
Year 8 is a crucial stage in your child’s secondary journey—rich with opportunities for growth, leadership, and connection.
I look forward to working in close partnership with you to ensure every student thrives both academically and personally.
Exciting times ahead!
I’ve been working closely with Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef (CoGBR), and I’m excited to share that our Year 8 students have been invited to get involved! Over the coming weeks, we will be assisting the CoGBR team with this year’s Reef Census—a vital initiative that contributes to the long-term health and monitoring of our reef. This is an exciting opportunity for our students to engage in meaningful, real-world environmental action.
