Calling all budding aviation enthusiasts for the annual Cairns Airport Careers Day commencing on Sunday 31 August from 9am - 12pm.

The day is an opportunity to check out information about pathways and potential careers in the airport and aviation sector, right here in Cairns. Get up close to some airport operations vehicles and aircraft. 

If you're finishing school soon and looking into an exciting career in aviation, come along and find out more on apprenticeships, traineeships, general courses and job vacancies. Get up close to airport operations vehicles and aircraft and chat with over 20 employers including the Australian Federal Police, Cairns Airport, Leidos, Jetstar, Australian Border Force, and many more.

Bring the kiddies along for a fun and FREE event which offers the chance to meet our friendly Australian Border Force Dogs, get your face-painted and get up close to a variety of aircraft as well as airport operation vehicles including Aviation Rescue Firefighters (ARFFS) truck (pending operational requirements).

Food stalls and refreshments will be available on the day. Please remember to bring hats, sunscreen and water.
